The first "bug thats going around"

There is always a "bug going around". Its a handy phrase for pediatricians when we know the child has a virus and it would be wrong to give antibiotics, but we don't know specifically what it is. This is an unclean world, with exposure to millions of germs daily, and thank the Lord He has given us an immune system strong enough to fend most of them off. There are always "bugs going around" (although certainly contagious outbreaks do occur in schools and families).

That being said, Daniel has successfully navigated the first of these. He was really fussy early Wednesday morning, and then had a little fever. He got checked out by our pediatrician, and everything suggested a simple viral cause (although who knows which one!?!), so we just gave him supportive care. And the Lord heard our fervent prayers, and Daniel quickly improved through the course of the day, and is back to his usual self now (i.e. cute, semi-spoiled, hungry, and loud).

I tried to post another video, but am currently unsuccessful.

Blessings all mine, and ten thousand beside, great is Thy faithfulness.
