This proves that Daniel and the Bump are siblings. Daniel crosses his legs at the ankles everytime he gets really comfortable, chillin' out.

As you can tell, we had our routine 20 week ultrasound today, and it went wonderful! Praise the Lord that everything seems to be going great with our new little one. He/she was moving around some, sitting really low, responded well to pokes and prods, and at one point scratched her face (of course it was cute, but then again, what isn't with little unborn ones? Except perhaps bladder pokes, so I'm told). No, we did not find out the gender, as we did not with Daniel. We'll be looking forward to a great surprise come July or August.

Food, glorious food!

I know everyone that used to follow my emails from various countries around the world knows that I love to talk about what I've been eating. Daniel apparently is cut from the same cloth as me (who knew?!), and wants to tell ya'll all about his appetite. He was a champion non-picky eater before his recent GI bug, but now he is learning that veggies don't taste as good as other stuff. His favorite foods are Publix mojo rotissiere chicken, Activia active cultures blueberry yogurt, Cheerios (the miracle food in my opinion), and whatever Mommy and Daddy are eating. He still flaps his arms whenever he gets really excited about something to come. Somewhere (probably church nursery, but we're not sure) he has learned the sign language for "more please", and uses it frequently.

Atlanta return

We had an excellent time last week. Everybody is finally completely over the stomach bug, and so we went on to ATL to visit Pop and Nana and attend a wedding. Very good times, good meals, some rest, some killer ping-pong action (Daniel has a wicked backhand!), and catching up with the grands. Pics to follow hopefully soon.

The bugs

Well, we had a very interesting week around Eusebia. Saturday, Daniel unloaded on Sarah and her mom while at the mall (an extremely unpleasant experience I was told). No big deal, however, until Sunday night, at which time we were all out at Sarah's parents house waiting for 6 inches of snow (we ended up seeing about 0 inches). Then, we soon found out that Daniel was quite contagious, as Sarah and both her parents ended up with it. Suffice to say it was a trying week, but PTL that everyone is over it now.     Today, we found that Daniel has cut his 5th tooth. He stood up for 10 seconds on his own today not holding anything. Soon, perhaps, for the first steps...???  He also can now say the words "bubble" and "apple", although those have each been heard once apiece (but I promise they were referring to the actual things!)      We head to Atlanta this week for a wedding, and hope to see lots of old friends. Snow?!?!?!

So we're sitting here at MaMa's house in Hopkins, waiting for the forecasted snow. At one point, the prediction was 3-5 inches, but now I'm just hoping for any white on the ground, so Daniel can make a snow angel (whether he wants to or not). He's been doing well overall, although we're getting over a little but right now. He said the word "apple" today, his most complicated word yet. Peace. God bless.
