First Beach installment, plus Reynolds birthday party

Back to the beach!

Anyone else remember that really bad movie from the 80's with Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon, "Back to the Beach"? Besides me? I remember laughing my head off at the scene where the surfer dude jumps off the pier, and then trying to be the cool kid with the switchblade comb.

Anyway, back to this century...we are headed to Ocean Isle Beach tomorrow for 6 days of sun, sand, and food. Daniel actually considers the last two to be the same thing. He's got a new lifejacket just waiting to be used. Some serious sunblock to be used, particularly on the hair part. hopefully will be able to post some pics there.
