New round
Are ya'll tired of info about another round of illnesses yet? Boy, this has been a struggle of a winter. Now I, Casey, have some bronchitis, but thankfully the Lord has protected my boys from it so far. Would He continue...
Otherwise, well. Joshua is now crawling. Cuter by the day. Daniel amazes us everyday with some of the things he knows. We have a deli chain in Cola called Groucho's that we go to regularly (the location closest to us). Daniel enjoys it b/c he gets his own grownup sandwich there and there are model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Yesterday, we went to a different location (and it has a totally different appearance from our usual one) and as soon as we walked in the door, Daniel asked for the planes. Amazing!

More of the same
We had a very good week after Joshua got out of the hospital, with no residual problems.....until today. This is a new illness alltogether, febrile and fussy, but actually not too bad off. He got checked this morning and will again tomorrow. Probably caught it from Sarah, who has been fighting a nasty cold. We continue to trust the Lord. I'm working the next 5 nights, so pray for help during those times for my family. Daniel is doing very well, and were all able to go to church yesterday, Yay!!!

Joshua is doing great. We came home yesterday, and since then, Joshua has been acting like his usual self with only a hint of congestion and coughing. Discharged
We just got the final word that we are definitely going home. Joshua's blood work this morning was improved. We are going to be on some anti-inflammatory medicine for his inflamed airway for the next few days and check in again at the office Monday. Thank you to those who prayed for his recovery; it's going great. Praise be to God!
Better
Joshua is just about to wake up. He had a very good night, only occasionally breathing noisily, and his vitals remained normal. Haven't seen his doctor yet, but fully expect to be discharged today.

Remember July...back again
Sorry to say, we're back at it again....Today, Joshua was admitted for overnight observation to the Children's Hospital at Palmetto Health Richland. He has croup, and although not too sick, it's a viral illness that usually is worse at night and thus when his pediatrician saw him today, he decided that watching him in the hospital tonight would be the safe route. So, I walked him over (literally across the street from the office), he got some xrays, a blood draw and IV medicine, and a nebulized breathing treatment which gave him some relief. Throughout the afternoon and evening he slowly got better, and is sounding pretty good at the moment. He wasn't eating too well earlier, but finally gulped down some food tonight and is in the process of going to sleep...hopefully to sleep all night without even a hiccup.
Well, as always, we are trusting God for a great outcome, that our child will be healed quickly and completely, and that God would be glorified in the process. He's done it before, and we have full expectation of Him doing it again. Please lift Joshua up before the throne, as we will. I'll try to update soon, but if I don't, that's probably good news. Thanks.
