Sorry to push that awesome pic out of the top spot to tell you about more illnesses. Actually, the last day has been good (finally). Joshua got tubes in his ears last week, and got put on another course of antibiotics and eye drops yesterday, and finally looks like his normal self (without waking up with tons of eye gook). Everyone has been thru pinkeye lately.
Today is Sarah's 32nd birthday, and we celebrated with a good Mexican lunch, some outside time, and going to Zak's soccer game, which the boys greatly enjoyed (not the game itself, but the people and the fun hill by the stadium). She got some fondue chocolate, Celtic Woman CD's from the boys, some flowers to plant, and some other fun stuff. Mostly just enjoying finally starting to feel a little better.
I've had a lot of time off the last 2 weeks, which included celebrating my mom's 60th birthday at the lake, fun with the boys, but primarily fighting off multiple illnesses in the family. Going back to work tomorrow for a stretch...if that signifies everyone getting better and being able to go it alone, then I'll take it.
Got a good update from the Lightsey family. Patrick is deployed in the Philippines for 6 months, and Paige is teaching and taking care of their English Bulldog puppy in Okinawa (UGA..UGA!!!).
